The man behind Business Is Fun Club.
This is My Story
After 9 years working corporate, I saw myself destined for greater things ahead. I had fun in the corporate world but I realized that I would like to embrace the challenge of running things and making major decisions. I have always been passionate about business and I realized that I am ready for this.
I wanted to have my own brand. A workplace where it is fun, where each task assigned is not considered a job but a challenge and every accomplishment is celebrated!
And so the journey began in 2012…
My first job was as a “water delivery boy” back in 2003. I was in college back then and for someone who wanted to earn money, that job was already “ok”. It wasn’t easy carrying water containers that were almost as heavy as me. But for someone without a college degree, they say “beggars can’t be choosy”!
I did not see myself doing that forever though. I am a very competitive person. I love challenging myself and pushing myself to the limits. I had dreams and aspirations.
In 2004, BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) industry was already booming in the Philippines and just like the others, I tried my luck. I worked in a call center and from then on, the rest was history!
There I developed my English communication skills, my leadership skills, analytical skills, etc. and my confidence grew! I was also privileged to have worked with great bosses whose leadership styles I’ve emulated through the years. I’ve had my ups and downs and I’ve learned through those experiences.
I’ve held key leadership positions from various multi-national companies over the years. It was an illustrious career in corporate. Not bad for someone who used to be a delivery boy.
If I don't dream I will make it, I won't even get close! The only person who can limit ourselves in reaching our potential is ourselves.
I see Business Is Fun Club as a game changer in the business solutions industry. Not only as a top service provider but a company who embodies a fun, happy working environment where every member of the team embraces the culture of giving back to the community.
As the founder and managing director of Business Is Fun Club, I encourage my teams to set their priorities straight before joining the club. God is the center of this business and our families are on top of our priorities.
Work is important but family always comes first. The business model I had for Business Is Fun Club enables us to perform at the highest level without compromising the time dedicated to our families.
I believe that a happy home produces happy employees and that happy employees perform the best.
That is why “business is indeed fun”!!!
